We are honored to present our 1st Annual Anthony Senior Wellness Fair, on March 12, 2025, at the Anthony Public Health Office parking lot, located at 865 N. Anthony Dr. Anthony, NM 88021. The public health offices and community health workers have been bringing together the community and organizations involved in public health to create a stronger and healthier future.
The purpose of this event is to enhance the quality of life for our elderly population and adults with disabilities. This event will increase the knowledge and importance of eldercare by providing seniors with the direct services available, enhance care, and ensure they receive the support they need. This day will not only increase the exploration of various options available for seniors but will also acknowledge the importance of nutrition and exercise in the prevention of illness and slowing of disease progression. This in turn will empower the aging population with independence, dignity, and a better quality of life by ensuring they receive the care and resources they deserve.
On behalf of the planning committee, we would like to invite your agency to participate in setting up a vendor table at this event. By participating you can introduce your agency to our Anthony senior community, providing you with a great opportunity to offer agency literature and products, provide health screens, and promote the importance of senior health.
Vendor application and information regarding logistics are attached to this document. All applicants must register by Monday, March 3, 2025, by using the link provided below.
There is no vendor cost for setting up a vendor table. All agencies are asked to donate a case of water/snacks and a senior gift of any kind to be raffled to participants attending. Vendor participants will need to bring their own tent, table, and chairs for the event and must be set up by 9:30 AM on the day of the event.
We hope you can join us to help improve our community's senior health and raise health awareness to our underserved senior community, by working side by side with our Public Health Office and Community Health Workers.
